If you want a fast and easy way to lose a lot of weight quickly, then this bootcamp is not for you. I’ve done a lot of programs that promise quick and easy weight loss and always end up gaining it back and some. With Olena’s bootcamp, I learned a sustainable method to stay healthy in a way that fits my busy lifestyle. The bootcamp consists of 3 workout sessions a week (full body, legs/cardio and arms/core) along with info sessions with a nutritionist and stretching sessions. The nutrition sessions were informative and accurate, which I find so rare these days with all of the fad diets and crazy supplements on the market. I learned how to lead a healthy lifestyle that I hope to continue for forever! I feel so much stronger and more fit now and it’s only been a month!

This was the best start to a new year. Well thought out and planned program. As a person that does not like to workout, I enjoyed FemFit classes (and I continue working out). I liked that I was able to exercise in my small space without having any special equipment and still feel very sore after each class. Olena’s FemFit Challenge was the perfect solution to get out of my Covid slump and regain a healthy body. Since I neglected exercising I needed a time-efficient program that included accountability and balanced workout sessions between cardio, strength training, and balance. Helen changed my life. After 2 kids I had a terrible diastasis that was really debilitating. I wasn't able to do normal day to day tasks without horrible back pain that made it really difficult to take care of my 2 active toddlers. When I got pregnant with my third child I felt completely defeated and knew I could no longer go on like this. I found Helen and she changed my life. I never thought I would actually be able to rehabilitate my core while pregnant and get rid of back pain that had plagued me for years. Helen told me with training I would be able to heal my core even after all this time. After my second pregnancy I was diagnosed with diastasi recti and a hernia. As I am generally an active person who loves sports and working-out, I was hoping to be back in my exercise routine soon after giving birth. But because of my diagnosis I knew that it's gonna take longer and also, that I would need the guidance and help of an expert. That's why I started my training with Helen. In our first meeting she explained to me the importance of transverse abdominal breathing and recommended a daily routine of breathing exercises. I followed Helen's advice and did this routine every day. After only one week my waist has already shrunk and I felt more comfortable when engaging my core. Still, my hernia was bothering me a lot. I just didn't like that it was so visible when wearing more fitted clothes. With summer and a beach vacation on the horizon my only solution was to buy a one-piece bathing suit that comes with a belt. I continued working out with Helen once a week and step by step we added more exercises for my abs. On top I repeated these exercises at home every single day. I made amazing progress: Three months postpartum my waist has shrunk even more and the hernia was less visible. I don't even need the belt for my bathing suit anymore :-). Helen is an amazing trainer, that I can highly recommend to all moms who want to heal and get fit again after pregnancy. I am possibly Helen's oldest client; both in age and how long I've been training with her. I actually met her before she began her private practice..which I signed up for on the day she left the fitness center I was attending. This was during the first week in July 2014. I have never looked back. I've be seeing Helen both in person, but more often remotely for 6 years and I'm currently 72 years old. She has kept me healthy and in shape with one or two sessions a week...time permitting. She varies the workouts so it never gets boring. Helen was my saving grace in creating effective full body workouts that included physical training into our sessions. Who has time to workout and go to PT (and work, and raise kids, and me time?). Along comes Helen! She is one of the most knowledgeable trainers out there. She can include physical training needs into her workouts so you are strengthening those small important muscles no one has time for while getting a great overall body workout. Helen improved my DR during my second pregnancy nearly closing my gap weeks after birth! As a college athlete and daily morning workout person, working out was always a huge part of my life. Having just run the NYC marathon I was probably in the best shape of my life when I got pregnant and continued running, biking, swimming, boxing etc during my first pregnancy. I was in tune with my body and thought I was exercising safely. What I learned after giving birth was that I was exercising safely for the baby (following perceived exertion) and had what I thought was a strong core from doing planks, I was actually destroying my DR. I tried PT and gave up given the time commitment – who wants to commute to lay on the floor for 45 min doing tiny exercises when you have a newborn at home and barely have time to workout?! Then comes Helen! A full body workout AND DR physical therapy in one. I started with her during the last 1-2 months of my second pregnancy and after about 8 weeks of weekly workouts together (starting at 8 weeks post partum), my DR was nearly closed, my hips were as strong as ever as and I felt on track to be back to my physical self. Helen is one of the most knowledgeable trainers out there. She can include physical training needs into her workouts so you are strengthening those small important muscles no one has time for while getting a great overall body workout. THANK YOU HELEN!!

I first met Helen when I was a few months post partum with my son. We worked out consistently every day and our training was really integral to not just getting my “body back” but also my confidence and just feeling like I had some independence again! When I got pregnant again a few months later, I was so happy that I already had a regimen with Helen and it was just part of my every day practice. I knew I was in the best hands to stay supported and STRONG in my second pregnancy especially given that it happened so quickly. Back to back pregnancies (and c-sections) could have been a nightmare for my body, but honestly, I’ve never looked or felt stronger - in no small part because of the work that Helen and I do together. I walked out of my second c-section the next day and was right back on my feet. My diastis was minimal, and we repaired it cautiously but completely. Helen even gave me exercises to do on my own (easy ones!) and guess what THEY WORKED. Someone recently asked me how many sit-ups i do to get my abs like that and I laughed because the answer is ZERO. Haven’t done a sit up since well before I had kids but Helen has given me the right exercises so that I look super toned all over and most of the time it doesn’t even feel like work, it’s fun!

I first met Helen when I was a few months post partum with my son. We worked out consistently every day and our training was really integral to not just getting my “body back” but also my confidence and just feeling like I had some independence again! When I got pregnant again a few months later, I was so happy that I already had a regimen with Helen and it was just part of my every day practice. I knew I was in the best hands to stay supported and STRONG in my second pregnancy especially given that it happened so quickly. Back to back pregnancies (and c-sections) could have been a nightmare for my body, but honestly, I’ve never looked or felt stronger - in no small part because of the work that Helen and I do together. I walked out of my second c-section the next day and was right back on my feet. My diastis was minimal, and we repaired it cautiously but completely. Helen even gave me exercises to do on my own (easy ones!) and guess what THEY WORKED. Someone recently asked me how many sit-ups i do to get my abs like that and I laughed because the answer is ZERO. Haven’t done a sit up since well before I had kids but Helen has given me the right exercises so that I look super toned all over and most of the time it doesn’t even feel like work, it’s fun!

Now that I have two kids who run around like crazy but still like to be carried occasionally, all that strength training is paying off in new ways. Helen’s exercises are always functional - she knows what I need to do every day with the kids so we focus on stability and strength so that I don’t get aches and pains from my regular crazy life toting around two wriggling 30lb toddlers! Helen is super responsive to what’s happening with my life and always gives me the right regimen. Not only that, but everything is just so impeccably thought out - there’s a reason (and a good one!) for each of the exercises. I feel so satisfied with my workouts and motivated to work out on days when we don’t have sessions together. I honestly can say after two kids, my body has never looked better. Helen is the absolute BEST and I look forward to our weekly sessions every time. She brings the best energy along with all that knowledge, and usually has me laughing while working (which I suspect is part of the secret to the killer abs!))
